Lafiya

Lafiya is a global health non-profit that strengthens the social and healthcare infrastructure of rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa by meeting women's unmet need for contraception. Through a deeply community-based distribution network (our Lafiya Sisters), we reach women at the last-mile in areas underserved by the healthcare system. To date, we have provided more than 450,000 women with life-saving contraception in the most rural and underserved parts of Nigeria

Lafiya is registered as a company limited by guarantee in Nigeria, known as Lafiya Development Solutions (registration number: 9319325), as charitable incorporated organisation (Charity Number: 1206952) in the United Kingdom,  as a charity in the Netherlands (ANBI/RSIN number: 865927133), and fiscally sponsored by 501 (c) (3) organisation Global Distribution Fund Inc.
